At the Pavel Kolář Centre for Physical Medicine we provide magnetic resonance imaging which enables the three-dimensional imaging of the body's organs. We use it primarily to diagnose inflammation, joint and muscle injuries, bleeding or body anomalies. This examination is painless.

For insured persons and self-payers:

  • We cooperate with VZP, ČPZP, ZPMV, ZPŠ, RBP, OZP insurance companies.
  • For self-payers, the price of the examination is CZK 5,000.

We offer the following types of MRI examinations:

  • MRI of limb joints
  • MRI of the spine (cervical, thoracic or lumbar)
  • MRI of soft tissues
  • MRI of long bones

Why choose our MRI examination centre?

  • Comfort for the patient: Our device is equipped with the widest "tunnel" on the market with a diameter of 80 cm, which reduces feelings of closeness during the examination and so is ideal even for sensitive patients.
  • High load capacity: The examination table has a load capacity of up to 220kg.
  • Safety: MRI examinations are also suitable for patients with implants, for example joint replacements, or for patients after stabilisation of the spine.

What to bring for an MRI examination?

  • The original of the completed application form with the doctor's stamp and signature
  • Your health insurance card
  • Your identity card
  • We recommend bringing along a cotton T-shirt without images or designs for maximum comfort during the examination
