Specializations - Physiotherapy Prague - CPM Pavel Kolář
Physiotherapy
We are specialists in the field of physiotherapy focused on the prevention and treatment of painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system. Our centre is a leading provider of individual and group physiotherapy which uses a revolutionary method known as Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation® (DNS). This method was developed by Professor Pavel Kolář.
Our services are primarily intended for ordinary patients who suffer from various pains and problems associated with the musculoskeletal system. Whether it's back pain, neck pain, joint pain, or any other problem, we're here to help. We try to focus on the causes and provide comprehensive therapy which is not only symptomatic, but addresses the problems at their root.
Thanks to our methods and techniques, we rank among the leading physiotherapy centres in Europe. Our high standards and achievements are also confirmed by the visits of leading Czech athletes. Our clients include famous names such as Petra Kvitová, Jaromír Jágr, Tomáš Berdych and many more.
Individual physiotherapy
Individual physiotherapy is a key process on your journey to good health. During an introductory session, we will perform a thorough kinesiology analysis, which includes a detailed examination of your movement stereotypes and the detection of any functional changes. Together with a rehabilitation plan, we carry out specific therapeutic procedures to achieve the desired therapeutic goal.
We use the following methods in therapy:
- DNS – Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization according to prof. Pavel Kolář
- Vojt's method (adults and children)
- The Mosaic Method
- Visceral therapy
- Fascial manipulation
- The McKenzie method
- Mobilization techniques
- Soft myofascial techniques
- Kinesio taping
- Vestibular physiotherapy
- Respiratory physiotherapy
- Shockwave
- Klapp's method
- Bobath's method
- DGSA academy dry needling technique
Group physiotherapy
This type of therapy is a great option for those who want to continue exercising after completing individual physical therapy. One therapy session lasts 60 minutes and the groups are small (max. 6 people), which guarantees that the physiotherapist will give you their full attention and ensure that the exercises are performed correctly.
