Sports physiology is a specific field which crosses the boundaries of clinical medicine and enables the connection between a knowledge of sports and medicine. In contrast to purely clinical medicine, he works both with healthy people, who enable him to perform better, and with sick people, who use sports to improve their quality of life. Practically, this enables him to help to target and manage training according to scientific knowledge and, together with nutrition and care of the musculoskeletal system (rehabilitation and physiotherapy), complements comprehensive care for athletes.
