Group physiotherapy sessions are led by a Centre of Physical Medicine physiotherapist and each session lasts 60 minutes. Thanks to a small number of people being in the group (max. 6), the physiotherapist can take greater care of the participants and ensure that each exercise is performed in the correct setting. Group physiotherapy is a great choice for those who attend physiotherapy or have already completed the programme and want to continue exercising.

Healthy Back group exercise is led by an experienced physiotherapist and is based on the principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation. In this type of exercise, attention is paid to the correct adjustment of the spine, trunk, pelvis and joints of the body in order to create a balanced activity of stabilising muscles and thus long-term relief of spinal pain.
Yoga with DNS® features
Yoga is a set of exercises that cleanse the body, increases the body’s resistance and fitness, and improves functioning of the central nervous system. In Pavel Kolar´s Centre of Physical Medicine we combine yoga with both general physiotherapy knowledge and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization® principles. The exercise is led by an experienced physiotherapist.
Group exercise based on the Feldenkrais method is an exercise that promotes body perception and movement. With the help of a better awareness of our body, we are able to engage muscles more effectively and learn to better evaluate and process the signals that the body gives us – for example, in the form of pain or movement restriction. The aim of this exercise is unforced relaxation of the joint range and muscle tension, which are a frequent cause of movement problems.
Exercise takes place in a small group with a maximum of six children. FITKID is divided into two age groups. The first group includes children 7 to 10 years old and the second group is suitable for children 11 to 15 years old. The sessions are led by an experienced physiotherapist and are suitable for children with poor posture or for children with a lack of regular physical activity. Exercise prevents musculoskeletal problems and at the same time it compensates for often unbalanced muscle activity in children affected by unilateral activity. We use features of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation and Yoga adapted to children. We focus on improving movement coordination, perception and orientation in space to increase quality of movement. Everything is done in a playful way and we emphasise a friendly and stress-free environment to awaken a positive attitude to movement in children.
