What we offer

There are many causes of musculoskeletal problems and pain. The building block for successful treatment is a targeted, comprehensive examination that will uncover the causes of the pain, based on which treatment can be developed. Screening methods are of extreme importance here, as is clinical examination by a specialised doctor.

Comparing clinical examinations, laboratory results and the results of screening methods with each other is fundamental in determining an individual strategy for treatment.

Science and research

Seminars, training sessions and courses for the general public are regularly staged at our place of work. The Centre for Physical Medicine also works on scientific activity in the area of prevention and in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system.

A research project entitled “The use of kinematic analysis of movement in rehabilitation and in sport – improving performance, preventing injury, and rehabilitation” was conducted between 2012 and 2017 in cooperation with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles’ University. This research was primarily designed for sportsmen and women from the Ministry of the Interior Centre for Sport and from other governmental department sports centres. Studies already conducted: tennis, golf, rowing, cycling.
