About us

The Centre of Physical Medicine is a unique medical facility in the Czech Republic with a unique concept, as part of which leading Czech specialists in individual fields are involved in diagnosing conditions and determining the best treatment.

The sense and philosophy of our work is to provide highly-specialised, comprehensive, mutually-complementary and individual care in line with the very latest scientific knowledge.

Our work aims to restore or normalise movement such that the musculoskeletal system is not overloaded and does not experience pain. We use a wide range of physiotherapy techniques and methods that respect the neurophysiological principles of the human body and of movement. This general principle is described in detail and explained in the concept of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation, of which Prof. Pavel Kolář is the founder.
